For one night, Tokyo’s most prestigious Edomae sushi house joins SUSHISAMBA
Abu Dhabi in a landmark anniversary celebration of culture, craft, and culinary artistry.
To mark its highly anticipated first anniversary, SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi announces a remarkable one-night-only collaboration with Sushi Seiten Hekireki, one of Tokyo’s most enigmatic Edomae sushi restaurants. Taking place on Thursday, 20 November, the celebration unites two world-class culinary destinations in a rare exchange of culture, craftsmanship, and artistry.
Founded in Meguro, Tokyo, Seiten Hekireki has achieved near-mythical status in the world of
sushi dining. With no signboard, a strictly members-only and invitation-only policy, and a six-
month waiting list maintained for more than three years, the restaurant has become a
symbol of rarity and prestige. For the past two years, new memberships and reservations
have been completely suspended, making a booking virtually impossible. Now, for the very first time in Abu Dhabi, Seiten Hekireki’s mastery will be presented in collaboration with SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi, as part of the venue’s landmark anniversary.
This unique experience offers guests the opportunity to savour the heritage and purity of Japan’s revered Edomae sushi craft, interpreted through SUSHISAMBA’s bold, tri-cultural identity of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavours.
The tasting menu, created exclusively for this occasion, unites the essence of Tokyo’s most
elusive Edomae sushi house with SUSHISAMBA’s spirit. Guests will embark on a journey
beginning with refined seasonal delicacies such as Seared Bonito Tataki and Grilled Tilefish
with Crisped Scales; moving into celebratory courses that highlight the purity of Japan’s
finest ingredients through SUSHISAMBA’s lens, including an exquisite selection of
Marinated Lean tuna—Akami, Medium Fatty Tuna Chūtoro and Seared Fatty Tuna
Ōtoro—alongside Sea Urchin, Seared Blackthroat Seaperch, Freshwater Eel, and A5
Japanese Wagyu Striploin, before concluding with Tuna Futomaki and signature desserts such as the Samba Pop and Japanese Stone.
Set across two striking floors at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, this collaboration offers a
celebration of culture, creativity, and connection, perfectly encapsulating the energy and
vision that has defined SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi since its opening in 2024.
Reservations are essential as seating is limited for this one-night-only event. The tasting
menu is priced at AED 850 per person, with a food and pairing experience available at AED
1,250 per person.
