In celebration of Chinese New Year 2026, Year of the Horse, the Michelin-starred restaurant Hakkasan Abu Dhabi introduces a limited-edition menufeaturing exclusive new dishes for AED 598 per person. Available from16 February to 3 March 2026, the seasonal menu brings together signature Hakkasan flavours and symbolic ingredients to mark the occasion in the heart of the capital.
A traditional Lion Dance will take place from 16and17 February, bringing festive energy and symbolic good luck to the restaurant. One of the most anticipated elements of the Chinese New Year, the performance adds moments of theatre and tradition.
One of the most symbolic traditions of the Chinese New Year, thewishing ribbon ritual, will also be part of the experience. Guests will receive themed wishing ribbons to write messages of good fortune, prosperity, and happiness, which can be tied throughout the restaurant in hopes of them coming true.
Designed for sharing, the menu opens with Fortune Money Bag with king crab, scallop, and water chestnut, and Octopus‘Yusheng’ salad with persimmon, pomelo, crispy taro root, mango, and mandarin dressing. Highlights from the mains include Wok-fried lobster with red plum and red osmanthus sauce, Wok-seared red sea bream with kumquat and calamansi soy, and Grilled AustralianWagyu tenderloin finished with red peppercorn and pomegranate. The menu concludes with Golden Stallion, a five-spice mousse with salted caramel and banana sorbet, a fitting final flourish for the Year of the Horse.
Complementing the experience are two celebratory serves: Celestial Steed, a signature cocktail created for the occasion, and Myriad Steed, a zero-proof alternative.
Bringing together dining, tradition, performance, and atmosphere, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi will breathe life into the Chinese New Year celebration in the capital with its new menu. The experience extends beyond the dining room, with the terrace open throughout the celebration, offering views across the Abu Dhabi skyline and a seamless indoor–outdoor setting.
