This February, NIRI Restaurant & Bar presents two distinct dining experiences shaped by season and occasion. Valentine’s Day is marked with a specially curated menu designed for intimate dining, while Ramadan evenings are welcomed with a considered Iftar menu rooted in balance, restraint, and generosity. Drawing on the award-winning restaurant’s signature Japanese approach, both menus reflect a quiet focus on precision, flavour, and thoughtful composition, offering guests an elegant way to mark the month’s key moments.

Valentine’s Day Set Menu

Valentine’s Day is marked with a refined set menu created for intimate evening dining. Priced at AED 300 per person, the menu opens with a selection of starters including kinoko miso shiru and spinach nasu goma, before moving into a sequence of yakitori featuring broccolini, taisho ebi, and tebasaki.

A sushi course of nigiri and maki follows, leading into a choice of main dishes: whole grilled sea bream with preserved lemon, mitsuba, and ponzu, or a 220g ribeye served with truffle ponzu and brown butter miso hollandaise. Both are accompanied by jaga bata – grilled potatoes finished with lime ponzu foam and crispy onions. To finish, ringo gâteau layers Fuji apple with miso caramel and vanilla ice cream.

Ramadan Iftar Set Menu

Throughout the month of Ramadan, NIRI offers a thoughtfully composed Iftar set menu, available daily and designed for shared dining. Priced at AED 200 per person, the menu begins with a selection of starters including corn tempura, shrimp tempura, tori momo, and miso shiru.

A sushi course follows, featuring California rolls and aburi salmon, before guests choose between two main dishes: wagyu yakimeshi with slow-cooked wagyu beef ribs, wagyu fried rice, and pickled mustard leaves, or whole grilled sea bream with preserved lemon, mitsuba, and ponzu. The evening concludes with a kinako pistachio cheesecake, served with caramelised nuts and sour cherry compote.
