The Abu Dhabi EDITION welcomes back globally acclaimed mixologist and founder of SG Group, Shingo Gokan, for a one-night-only takeover at Library Bar, the only bar in Abu Dhabi to be included in The World’s 500 Best Bars list, on Friday, 23 October 2026, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The exclusive evening, in partnership with Perrier, will see Gokan bring his distinctive approach to cocktail craftsmanship to one of Abu Dhabi’s most celebrated bars.
Recognised as one of the most influential figures in the industry by Bar World 100, Shingo Gokan is an icon of modern mixology, with his New York establishment, Sip & Guzzle, ranked No. 1 on North America’s 50 Best Bars in 2026. With establishments across Tokyo, Okinawa, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Madrid and New York, Gokan has made his mark on the global bar scene while mentoring bartenders behind award-winning bars around the world and helping shape the next generation of mixology talent. Beyond his bars, Gokan also creates Japanese-inspired spirits, liqueurs and hand-blown glassware through The SG Shochu, AWAMORI DE LEQUIO and SIP AND GUZZLE.
For this exclusive collaboration, Gokan will craft a selection of cocktails in partnership with Perrier, bringing his artistry and precision to Library Bar for an evening of considered mixology.
