As 2026 approaches, Michelin-starred restaurant Hakkasan Abu Dhabi will mark New Year’s Eve with a dining and late-night experience priced at AED 2,500 per person.
The New Year’s Eve menu keeps its focus on modern Cantonese cuisine, beginning with Alaskan king crab salad dressed with pomelo, red radish, sesame macadamia, mixed cress, and XO mango dressing. Peking duck follows, served two ways with caviar and a classic duck bao, alongside a supreme dim sum duet of porcini and lotus flower puff and scallop caviar dumpling.
Main dishes include Wagyu short rib prepared two ways with BBQ pepper sauce and black bean, stuffed morel mushroom with white asparagus and lily bulb, charcoal-grilled black cod with black truffle, lemongrass purée, and barley, and Hakkasan’s signature lobster dumpling noodle finished with salmon roe and XO crab sauce. Dessert arrives as the clock edges closer to midnight, with Tangerine Dream combining orange mousse, mandarin marmalade, and citrus granita.
Behind the bar, the night is carried by Champagne poured for the midnight toast, alongside fine wines, spirits, and a small cocktail line-up created for the occasion. Highlights include Forget Me Not, blending mango gin, black pepper liqueur, and coconut soda, and Planter’s Paradise, a clarified mix of plantation pineapple rum, Plantation OFTD rum, passionfruit, almond, and citrus.
As midnight approaches, the energy drifts outdoors. Music from the resident DJ carries across the terrace as guests move between cabanas and the outdoor bar, with Abu Dhabi’s New Year’s Eve fireworks marking the moment the year turns.
