This November, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi pays tribute to the beloved Old Fashioned cocktail with a 15-day special edition of Hakka Nights: Old Fashioned Nocturne. In collaboration with Woodford Reserve, the Michelin-starred restaurant reinterprets the timeless beverage in three creative expressions from 1st to 15th November, each exploring the interplay of bourbon, bitters, and balance, paired with a selection of signature small eats.
The celebrations reach a crescendo on 4th November, as five of the UAE’s most iconic bars – Galaxy Bar, SUSHISAMBA, Broadway, Rosewood, and Tattū Dubai – join Hakkasan Abu Dhabi on its outdoor terrace for one night only, each bringing its own signature take on the enduring classic. Whether a seasoned connoisseur or a curious patron, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi invites guests to discover – and rediscover – the Old Fashioned in a new light.
In this special edition of Hakka Nights, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi reimagines the Old Fashioned through a trio of cocktails that honour the classic’s depth and complexity while introducing notes of vibrant fruit, fragrant spice and tropical sweetness, all underpinned by the rich, rounded profile of Woodford Reserve bourbon. The Strawberry Moon introduces bright strawberry notes against the bourbon’s rich warmth, while Peach and the Hidden Flame pairs fragrant peach with the tingling heat of Sichuan pepper. Completing the trio, the Coconut and Mango Jade brings together lush mango and mellow coconut for a tropical twist.
Guests can choose from a selection of Hakkasan’s signature small eats to complement the cocktails, including its signature dim sum platter, prawn fritters, salt and pepper squid, and soft-shell crab with red chilli.
