The Library Bar at The Abu Dhabi EDITION, the only bar in Abu Dhabi to be listed in Top500 Bars, announces the launch of its new manga-inspired cocktail menu, available exclusively from 3 July 2026. Drawing from the vivid world of Japanese manga, the menu follows Head Mixologist Ryan Remulta as the central character on a journey through Japan, discovering flavours, landscapes, traditions, and cultural nuances that shape the country’s drinking culture.
The result is a collection of Japanese-inspired cocktails that translate Ryan’s imagined travels into distinctive serves. Each drink captures a chapter of the journey, from the quiet refinement of Kyoto to the electric rhythm of Tokyo bringing together Japanese ingredients, whisky-led foundations, and modern techniques.
The new cocktail collection features Hario V60, Oasis of Kyoto (Singleton 12 YO, Kukuto Shochu, Oloroso sherry, blackened banana); A5, The Wagyu Craft (Japanese blended whisky, umeboshi, wagyu marmalade); Hanami, Fleeting Beauty of Spring (vodka, shochu, faux foie gras, papaya); Natsuyasumi, A Taste of Long Summer Days (vodka, yuzu sake, sparkling sake, apple & pomegranate); Hanabi, Just Like the Summer Sky (gin, seaweed, kumazasa, za’atar); Sake-tini, The Bounty of One (peated whisky, kome shochu, umami vermouth, curry garam); Choshoku, Breakfast Reimagined (mirin, Chita single grain whisky, black shochu, matcha); Matcha Sugi, Too Much Matcha (tequila blanco, shikuwasa, root tubers, saffron); Murasaki, The Imperial Drink (Scotch whisky, imo shochu, ras el hanout, ginger & wasabi); and Shohoushu, The Doctor’s Prescription (smoked whisky, imo shochu, ras el hanout spices).
Through this new menu, Library Bar presents a contemporary interpretation of Japanese cocktail culture, where each serve becomes part of a larger narrative. Set within the intimate atmosphere of the bar, the experience brings together illustration, flavor, craftmanship, and imagination in a way that is both playful and refined.
